i heard that certain types of mixed use properties may become eligible for regular residential mortgage loans soon, depending on some pending new law? is that possible?

Most conforming loan programs already allow for mixed use properties.. but the rules are becoming less stringent.. As far as any "Laws".. affecting mixed use.. I don't see that happening.. but I do see guideline changes that might expand eligibility which would allow more properties to qualify..
