Nowhere.. First, once the BK7 hits your credit report, your credit scores will drop significantly.. 2nd, until your BK 7 is discharged, you can amend it and any debt you forgot to include, including any new loans you get.. So for this reason, no one will lend to you until your BK7 is discharged.. 3rd.. you wont be able to get a 2nd mortgage until you have met the mandatory waiting periods after a significant derogatory event.. such as a BK7.. Most all lenders who do 2nd positions loans will not do a loan if you have a BK, short sale or foreclosure in the past 7 years.. So an equity loan will be pretty much out of the question.. 4th, you might be able to do a cash out refinance, but the mandatory waiting period is 3 years for FHA.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets.
