possibly.. but Wall Street is pretty sharp.. they pretty much know what's going to happen before it happens and they adjust accordingly.. however, we know that the Fed Reserve will back off of it's MBS purchasing program.. so as this happens, watch rates go up.. Hi, our rates didn't go up today as the MBS market was flat overall. Wednesday is the day everyone is looking at this week and we've seen those meetings go wildly in either direction depending on the news. It's anyone's guess at this point.
If you are comfortable with your payment as it would stand with rates today I always suggest locking. Better to be safe than sorry on a commitment as significant as your mortgage financing! I am always happy to assist so if you need more information, a pre-qualification, or a competing rate quote you can go to my web page and use my live support button to discuss or get advice on anything at all with me. It is possible and one can never say what will happen for certain. If you are trying to decide of you should lock or not, it is advisable to lock now.
Hold on... let me check my crystal ball... OK, all joking aside... The reality is no one knows. But all signs currently look for rates to go higher. Lock now and never look back.
