More info needed.. Certain loan programs in states with Community Property Laws will require that the credit of the non borrowing spouse be run, and any individual debt must be attached to the borrowing spouse for qualifying purposes.. Also in these types of states, the non borrowing spouse will need to sign a disclaimer deed disqualifying them from any interest or claim to the property. So the short answer is they don't have to be added to your loan, but they do need to be willing to sign depending on your state's laws. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
