Ultimately the best way to tell is to reach out to their loan officers and inquire. I am in Des Moines (grew up in Boone) and would be happy to help if you would like to speak about an VA mortgage.
People's Bank and Trust Co is an approved VA lender. A bank is not going to advertise for a loan they can not do. It would just cause them more trouble.
Only Boone Bank and Trust can tell you for certain.
You would have to ask them...
It's up to the individual lender to decide if they wish to originate VA loans.. for most, they will, but for others, they don't.. So long as the lender is in good standing, and applies to VA for approval, then there should be no problem.. but just because they are not VA approved, does not mean their a bad lender.. If you want to know if the are able to do VA loans, just pick up the phone and call them.. that simple.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona.
