Is it possible to take my ex-wife to court and have a judge order her to refi, sell, or turn over the home to me?

It's not called out in our divorce paperwork that my ex have me removed from our mortgage (I know...dumb move). She and I agreed...unofficially (just through emails)....that she would have me removed by last month. There's no movement from her camp, so I'm assuming she just plans to live in the house until further notice. From the bank's point of view, she can't afford the mortgage on her own, so refi'ing is out of the question. However, she has been paying the mortgage on her own for over a year now. Legally, is there anything I can do? by aleish_577_872 from Bothell, Washington. Jul 20th 2012 Reply

Yes, it is possible, but your attorney can guide you better in this area. Good luck. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com ~ 888-889-9950
