Are you saying it's upside down? If so you need to do a HARP loan and it will depend on how far upside down you are but if it's not too great then, yes it would make sense to do so.

Pros are lower rate, no fees, simple process and savings for the life of the loan. Cons are you will have to sign some paperwork. Pretty straight forward I think.
