Is the mortgage tax on a home refi tax deductible?

the answer is YES , but 99% of times there is no pay mortgage tax for refinance unless there is cash taken out of property , other wise this tax was paid by the closing of original loan so there is no need to pay it again. Ask lender to do a CEMA for you , to avoid paying mortgage tax.
