Is there a limit to co signers?

If one or two can afford to purchase the complex, that could work better. Then after the loan closes add the others to the title. Keep in mind when multiple borrower's are on a residential or commercial loan, the interest rate is based on the middle score for the borrower that has the lowest scores.

The fewer the better, but 5 in and of itself isn't an issue.
