Is there a time of year that mortgage rates are generally better than others?

Looking to buy soon but wondering if I should wait until the winter months by payned335 from Colton, Oregon. Sep 28th 2020 Reply

Nope. No seasonal adjusting in the Mortgage world. The best time to finance a home was last week. The second-best time is NOW. Get in now while home prices are still low and the rates are even lower. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington. I've been lending for nearly three decades. I've been asked that question for three decades, but I have never ever seen anything even remotely close to rates being seasonally adjusted. That simply isn't how rates work. I lend in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. I can be reached at JoeMetzler.com - NMLS274132
