My dad co-borrowed with me but moved out of state and I now have a strong income, credit and all. Any suggestions? by JeremyJ_1212748 from Austin, Texas. Oct 4th 2013
Absolutely. As long as you qualify on your own, you can refinance in just your name and your dad will no longer be on the loan. You can also quitclaim him off the title as part of the process and he will have no ties tot he property whatsoever. Hope that helps, best of luck!
Yes, with good credit and income, you can refinance on your own, which will remove Dad from the title, and the previous loan obligation.
Just apply for the refinance yourself. Your Father will need to sign off his rights to the property. Call me I can help 517-240-3015
As long as you can now qualify on your own, refinancing and removing your Dad from title is pretty easy. Simply contact a local mortgage broker to get started.
Yes you can if you can qualify on your own.
