Modular homes? Almost all lenders should do those... Manufactured, as in mobile, that is much more difficult.
Modular homes for financing purposes are considered and viewed the same as a site built home.. Mobile homes or manufactured homes are completely different.. to be eligible for FHA streamline refinance, you need to have an FHA loan now.. to be eligible for a HARP refi, your loan must be owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, and have been initiated prior to June 2009. As far as your property type, very few lenders offer financing on manufactured homes or mobile homes.. those that do will usually have higher rates.
