Lender asking for boyfriend info for mortgage
Hello, I recently got approved for a mortgage and my lender told me that FHA requires a household to be on the application. There is no requirement on a standard FHA loan for anyone other than the applicant (you), regardless of who else lives in the home. Something doesn't pass the smell test that they are asking for this information. I suggest reaching out to someone else for a second opinion. I Lend in MN, WI, IA, ND, SD.
