I've been a US resident for 7+ years but never opened a bank account or accumulated any credit history. (A potential lender ran a soft credit to confirm). Are there any lenders (no hard money) available for a small loan for a primary resident? by TheresaPost318 from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Feb 7th 2017
Yes.. FHA allows for "Alternative" credit references to establish a credit history.. Utility payments, cell phone, auto insurance, rent payments, etc.. can all be used as an alternative credit reference.. FHA allows for borrowers with no score to obtain financing, but you need to find a lender that allows for it.. Try reaching out to a local mortgage professional.. and ask if they allow for alternative credit.. I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
