My mortgage lender is trying to verify my employment, the workers of the company do not understand English. I am afraid they will reject my mortgage because of this. What can I do? by jeastehg849 from Silver City, Montana. Oct 12th 2017
Typically, the lender sends your employer a Verification of Employment (VOE) form. This is filled out by your HR person, and then just before funding, they will call and get a "Verbal" VOE to be sure you are still employed on the date your loan funds.. If they don't speak English, then you might want to advise your lender what language they speak.. so when someone does call, hopefully they can talk in their language.. otherwise, they will be required to fill out another VOE form. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
