I am ready to buy my first house but I Dont know how to pick a lender I can trust...especially if I use a website. Are there laws in place to help me if the lender is shady? I have a 710 credit score. by janet92829 from Los Angeles, California. Oct 14th 2010
Yes all lenders are now highly regulated we must have national licensing and must be licensed in the state they reside in and many many cases have mutiple licenses. My advice is also to go with a lender such as our parent Brightgreen Home Loans your fees will be less as a broker will add on fees to get a commission on a sale. Our licenses are posted on our website......Please remember that a mortgage is not about rate and fees but your entire financial picture hand how your personal plan for your retirement includes a mortgage. Hope this helps....
Most folks don't report wrong doings. ... Check out my website. ... I'm totally transparent. ... If you like what you see, give me a call. ... Then you can make a judgment or a comparison to others you have spoken with. ... Happy funding, Rudi
