You cannot request a transfer. Secondary market sells notes(loans) all the time.
Sadly, there is not much you can do. The Lender determines who services the loan. It can be expensive to refinance just because you dislike them. I also have a loan that is serviced by a bank I refuse to do business with, but I'm not willing to waste my money just to get rid of them. Instead, I set them up on my own bank's Bill Pay Service. My bank, (actually it's a Credit Union) guarantees that if the payment does not get where it is supposed to by the date I select, they pay the late charge. So, I set mine up for the payment to be received each month on the 10th. All I have to do is look at the mortgage statement they mail me each month to make sure the amount has not changed. And let it go. I don't have to visit them or interact with them. It's almost as if I'm dealing with someone else. If I do have any problems (so for I haven't) I'll make sure the CFPB gets a formal complaint. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ At NEXA, we've got you covered.
