Yes.. there is a special program offered through HUD that is for qualified Native American's. It's called the "Section 184, Indian Home Loan" Here's a link to HUD's website. https://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/public_indian_housing/ih/homeownership/184 The program offers relaxed underwriting guidelines along with lower down payment requirements.. Also, rates for this program are not the most favorable.. Oftentimes, you're better off applying for a FHA loan with 3.5% down or even a conventional loan with only 3% down. vs. going to one of these unique loans. Also understand that only a handful of lenders throughout the country offers these loans, and very few are closed each year.. so regardless of who you use, they will not have much experience, so be patient as they learn the quarks as they go through it.. Our company is not setup to do the 184's, but if you decide to go with any other type of conforming loan, I'm sure I can help. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
