Need advice regarding my son's home purchase plans

I want to get a consultation about a home purchase. My son and his wife have their house on the market in California and they plan on purchasing a home in the Boise, Idaho area. My son’s wife will stay in California because of her job for about 6 months to complete the apprenticeship, once she’s done with her apprenticeship she’ll move to Boise. She will be staying with her family during the apprenticeship. They want to purchase a house in Boise as soon as their escrow closes so that their daughters can start their school year on time. They will have about a 35% down payment and they will keep enough in savings just in case they need the money for expenses during the transition period. Both of them have high credit scores. I called a lender at local union credit and he said a mortgage loan wouldn’t be a problem. Just wanted to hear a professional’s advice about the matter. by thassine521 from Aliso Viejo, California.
