I was wondering if anyone had any experience with ING easy mortgage. Their rates are so low and the promise of low closing costs is really appealing, but i don't like the idea of not going with a lender who has a local office that i can storm in case of a problem, and while they used to have 30 year fixed rates, now it seems they don't fix rates for longer than 10 years. by tculle_544_484 from O Fallon, Missouri. ING is known for their Jumbo Mortgage Rates and those are typically short term loans and arms. I would not be overly concerned where a lenders office is located. The key thing is to make sure you have a good relationship and trust with your loan officer and to make sure the lender you are working with is legitimate. You can do this by asking for their NMLS #, Loan Officer License #, or if it is a bank there FDIC Member.
