Which loans don't have pmi and how do I qualify for those loans? by jaffe135 from Imbler, Oregon. Oct 31st 2019
The basic answer is that you need to put 20% down to avoid PMI. I do have a few ways that you can avoid PMI altogether even with less down. We have other ways that you can avoid monthly PMI even on a conventional loan. Happy to help if you want to reach out. I am licensed in Oregon.
Good day, Conventional loans have an option to have MI or not if putting less than 20% down, generally it's more cost effective to have the MI on the loan vs buying it out..each file is different and there are other factors to consider as well. VA loans also don't have MI. Brian@U-mortgage.com if you have other questions.
