to be eligible for a HARP refi, your loan would need to have been initiated prior to June 2009. If you refinanced 4 months ago, you loan will not qualify.. Assuming you have sufficient equity, you can refinance, you just cannot use HARP to do it.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Would need some more information- Does your loan currently qualify for a HARP loan? Is it serviced by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac? if so, when did you closeon your current loan?

If your loan is only 4 months old and you are applying for a HARP, then you would not qualify.

As I understand it from your "4 months ago" answer, your current loan closed 4 months ago, correct? If so, you can't qualify for a HARP 2 loan because it needed to be originated before 6/1/09. Was it? If not, you can't get a HARP 2 loan.

Thanks Cindy; If you closed on your current loan 4 months ago, then you would not qualify for a HARP loan. Your loan needed to have closed before June 1st 2009-Why are you looking to refinance now only after 4 months?
