Put an offer on a home across state and I now have problems due to my remote worker status

A few weeks ago, my manager said that we can choose to start working from home. I took advantage of this chance to move across state. I found a nice home and put in an offer that was accepted. My lender asked for a signed statement from my employer that my income would not change after my move. The problem is there is nothing official about me being e remote worker, it was only my manager who approved of such a set up. It’s a week before closing and I’m stuck. When you buy a home a significant distance from your current work... basically too far to be driving in everyday, it is common for the lender to request and receive something from the employer stating that you can work remotely. Otherwise the fear is the lender is qualifying you on a job you are likely to quit, and "stability of income" comes into question. Getting this letter from the employer is usually super simple, and a letter signed by the manager should be OK. I lend in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
