I have an FHA program that may be able to assist you, but it requires and down payment of 10%. We could look at your credit and maybe get the score up to 580 which would require a 3.5% down payment. Feel free to give me a call Rob 919-594-6905
Although there are lenders who advertise they will finance you with a score that low, the reality is that VERY FEW that apply actually get approved.. the real question is why? Why is your score so low.. Foreclosure, bankruptcy, judgments, unpaid student loans, etc.. even if your score were 750 and you had one of these credit deficiencies, you still might be denied.. Your far better off letting a mortgage professional look at your complete loan profile and once they see the complete picture, they can advise you properly.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. It is highly unlikely that you will be able to secure a FHA loan with a 577 credit score. Most lenders have "Overlays" that require a higher credit score than FHA's minimum. The reason?Lenders do not want to originate a marginal loan with a low credit score because the lender may have to buy back the loan in case of default, which is a huge liability. It is best to raise your credit score and you will have more options.
