I am hoping to get a usda mortgage for 0% down with my 733 credit. i don't know where to start but i would not like to use a bank since my last loan process was not enjoyable. i will be moving but staying in utah, thank you. by genealtman4263208 from Salem, Utah. Jan 2nd 2015
Yes, I have a guy who is great with USDA/Rural. His name is Paul Newell and he's with Security Home Mortgage. His cell is (801) 362-2010. - Howard Thruston II, Associate Broker at RE/MAX Results in Utah County. *I also work in Salem, Utah.
There are many who offer USDA loans in Utah and the USDA loan is an excellent loan option to look at. The first thing is to make sure the property is in a designated rural area and you can look that up at http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do?pageAction=sfpThe other think is to make sure you meet the income guidelines. I would contact a local loan officer and have them review your information to see if you and the property qualify. Best wishes, Sean
We don't lend in Utah, otherwise I could help you, but Howards recommendation looks very solid and he is a local...good luck
