You shouldn't have a problem but we would need more info to be more precise.. The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, they will be better equipped to advise you properly. Also, by applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with many lenders with each one offering a different type of lending program. This is unlike the local bank which typically only has a few lending programs. The more lenders, the more lending options, and the more likely your scenario will be accepted.. Plus, the broker is experienced in seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario, and he has lower overhead which typically results in lower rates and fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Great day to you Wayne, I would suggest that you go to the NAMB, Association of Mortgage Professionals and find a Local Mortgage Broker in your area. www.namb.org .. They will be able to sit down with you and go step by step to help reduce your feeling of being overwhelmed. I am a USA Cares, Military Specialist in Colorado, so I cannot do your loan, but am available for questions. VA is a wonderful product with 0 money down to purchase a home. You can find more information at www.va.gov Thank you so much for your service. I am truly grateful.
You'll have lots of options for good lenders - let them figure out the details for you - we're the experts. However, it may depend on which state you are looking in as licensing can vary. Also, remember you need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of your employment (if any). Let me know if I can help, licensed in most states.
Based on the information that you have given, you should not have any problem providing you meet all the other qualifications.
From my point of view, you should contact a Local Mortgage Broker and apply with them.
