Yes, but it will depend on which type of loan you have.

If you closed on the last mortgage before 6/1/2009 and the loan is backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, then yes, you could potentially refinance without an appraisal under the HARP program. Are you worried about the value of the property vs. the balance on your mortgage?

I'm a lender here in California. you maybe able to refinance your loan without an appraisal; we will need to see what type of loan you have. My name is Jesse and my office number is 925-626-4633. I can get the job done right and under 30 days as I am a direct lender. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks

We would need more info regarding your current loan.. FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans all have refinance features where an appraisal is not required, but you have to go FHA to FHA, VA to VA, etc... Each lending program has their own set of rules and guidelines, so it's important you let a local qualified loan officer look over your complete profile for the most correct info regarding your specific scenario.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Depends on what type of loan you have. If you have an existing FHA, VA, or USDA loan, potentially no appraisal needed. If you have a conventional loan BEFORE June 1, 2009, then potentially no appraisal there too.
