Unfortunately, no.. In order for the lender to issue a pre qualification, they need to pull their own credit report. Understand that there has been a huge amount of loan fraud in the past and because of such, lenders will be very vigilant in being sure everything about a borrower is legitimate. This would be impossible if they didn't run their own report.. Also, when a lender does do a pre qualification, they have to stand by their quote.. if the report is not current, it's possible the scores have changed, but your lender would need to stand behind his pre qual.. Hello Gloria502, regarding your credit report, depending on where it is from, I will get you a prequel letter, but you will also need to send a copy of that credit report, paystubs, W2's and a bank statement in order for this letter, and know full well, that when you do find a home and the application goes live, a new credit report will have to be pulled always, no exceptions. If you would like to chat or converse thru email, that is fine. rates are still low and it is rather quite busy. Nobody wants to waste anyone's time unless this is all legit. Good Luck....feel free to contact me. We are based in RI, I work in a Mass Branch office. We lend Nationwide.
Yes I am a Connecticut Lender, I could review your documentation credit report, pay-stubs, W-2's and other documentation that might be needed. I would put in the pre-qualification letter that it would be subject to a new updated credit report before issuing a pre-approval letter for a purchase of a home. As before you make an offer on a home we will need to obtain our credit report, The pre-qualification letter should be good to start looking at homes.Call me:860-836-6952 NMLS: 89835
