A letter of explanation is common. You can usually just explain that you recently moved to New Jersey and didn't update your license, or use your parents home as your primary address for your license. No big deal. Any questions, shoot me an email. scarroll@bondstreetloans.com
Nothing to worry about.. Here in AZ, our DL's are good for 40 years.. if we move, we are not required to obtain a new DL... so our borrowers write a letter stating.. "To whom it may concern:.. The state of AZ does not require a new drivers license every time you move, they only require you to notify the DMV of your new mailing address, which I have done".. I'm not sure of the laws in NY, but simply put.. all you need to do is write a letter explaining.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. It isn't a problem. Just tell them why.... and it can even be as silly as "I moved and never bothered changing it".
