VA Refi - Pending Foreclosure
Hello - I am behind on my mortgage 90 days. This is the only time i have been late, I am sick and on Chemotherapy and can't return to work and can't refi with no job/income. I wanted to know if there is a way to salvage my home? I am now in the process of filing for retirement and pension, I will have a fixed income of about $5,200 a month, right now I am living on savings until retirement payouts start...I a,m told about 60 more days. So sorry to hear about your situation.. but you need to call your current lender immediately.. by law, they are supposed to give you options to avoid foreclosure.. It's possible they can put the 3 unpaid payments on the end of your loan,, it's possible they can help with a loan modification.. but in all reality, you wont know what's available to you until you call your current lender.. best wishes,,, I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets.
