Yes, you can get a home equity line of credit when you do not currently have a mortgage. The loan would be considered a first position, home equity line of credit. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss your options. Elva Wormley, 408-615-8500 C2 Financial Corporation
The short answer is yes.. but it takes more than a credit score to get a loan.. We have to look at your income, debt load, and the items on your credit report to determine your eligibility.. It only takes 5 minutes.. so try getting off the computer.. get on the phone and call someone (like me).. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
Having no current mortgage is not an issue... Low credit scores on the other hand are generally problematic. The only thing you can do is start contacting lenders.
