No. The closest you can get to this is to go directly to a bank, you can deal with an employee (they call them loan officers) who are NOT licensed like true Mortgage Loan Originators. They will take your order and sell you one of their bank's loan product that may or may not be what you need. They will not tell you if there is a better product out there for you. You just get whatever they decide to sell you. And they will not tell you how much they are making off of you for taking what they give you. True Mortgage Loan Originators don't operate this way. We are required to take significant educational courses specific to each state we operate in. We are tested on legal and ethical requirements and we are licensed by The NMLS (The National Mortgage Licensing System) Did you know that bank Loan Officers only have to be registered with the NMLS. That's right. No mandatory education, no testing and no license. Just registered. A True Mortgage Professional, one that is licensed, will gather the details of your situation and guide you to the best loan program out there for you. So if you want to take your chances, go ahead, but I would never let a family member or friend use a bank for their loan. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ At NEXA, we've got you covered. We are licensed in all states except VA and we're pending approval in MA and NY. ~ www.ApplyYes.com 480-889-9000.
agree go to a bank and deal with an hourly employee. Let me know how that goes.. It might work, but then again might be a frustrating experience
