How do I get back into my old home?
I quit claimed deeded my first home to my now ex husband. I did this so I could purchase my second home, unfortunately now I am being foreclosed upon. Id like to get back into my old home i am the only one on the note to the bank. but i am no longer on the deed. Where do I stand with the home legally? by amber939 from Madison, Wisconsin. You don't own it anymore. Why do you think you should get to move back in? You did the quit claim so you could benefit, now when that does not work out you want to go and take back what you already gave away? I answered you on another forum already and find this behavior quite disturbing. You may be on the note, but you have no more rights to ownership. Maybe your ex will sell it back to you.
