is mortgage insurance required for VA loans? if so is there a time when it can be waived such as at 80% loan to value like others? by d.larosa.nora7823708 from Cicero, New York. Jun 17th 2014
VA does not have any monthly mortgage insurance. VA does have a VA Funding fee that is financed into your loan amount unless the veteran is a disabled Vet - then the Funding Fee is waived. Any questions regarding VA or any other mortgage product can be directed to me at tliolos@paragonhomeloans.com.
