Should I let one house go?

I need help regarding my situation. I currently own 2 houses, one is worth 150 thousand less than what I bought the other house is worth about 10 thousand less than what it’s worth. I would like to keep the property I owe less on. My question is, am I able to let the other property go and keep the one I owe less on, and what are the consequences of letting the house go? by sokol624 from Tempe, Arizona. Oct 17th 2022 Reply

you can always " let a house go " ...this will wreck your credit for years to come ....try selling ...contact the lender/ servicer for options to help ......can you rent the home and have the rent cover ( or come close to covering ) the mortgage payment ?
