VA Refi . non-Vet.

I have conservatorship over my father's estate (financial affairs) who is a Vet. We need to refinance his home, I am not a Vet. Can this still be accomplished by the conservator? by iisaacson202 from Buchanan, Virginia. Jun 4th 2019 Reply

More info needed, but the short answer is... Yes and No.. Assuming you have "legal" conservatorship, then the veteran can refinance assuming he has remaining entitlement, but you would need to sign on his behalf as the conservator. You would need to produce the legal documents for verification to the underwriter and title company. But, you cannot refinance using VA into your own name.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893
