Sounds like you are getting offered a pretty good deal, depending on the terms of the modification.
You should probably have an attorney or at the very least a mortgage/real estate professional look at the documents prior to your signing.. but in general, if you sign new agreements past your BK where your loan was included, but never re-affirmed, then you would be obligating yourself to the new terms.. ..
