My mother in law has been offering her house to my husband at a very huge discount. This is where my husband grew up and is worth 3 to 5 times the price that we are getting at $50k. Estimates are in the $280k given its current condition. I told my mother in law that the home is worth far more than $50k but she insists that she wants to sell at that price. The home is in New Jersey and we would like to close the deal soon. How do we move forward?
