Today is tomorrow, and rates are unchanged, but the market opened down.. if you have a loan and you are contemplating locking or not locking.. then you should lock.. Rates have been consistently on the rise since President Trump took office.. This trend is very likely to continue.. Also understand that when rates improve, it's over a long period of time and in very small increments.. but when pricing goes bad,, it's quick and over a few short days.. It makes no sense to risk a minuscule small gain, by taking the risk of a large rate increase.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets.
