What is the best loan option for me?

I live in sunny California and this is my first time buying a home. Is it essential to get a pre approval before I go on looking for a home? How much down payment should I save up for? What are the different loan options available and what is the best one? by nweaver396 from El Segundo, California. Jan 31st 2022 Reply

The whole idea of pre-approval is to do exactly what you are asking. To give you loan options, down payment requirements, how much you qualify for, etc. Simply make application with a local mortgage broker. Stay away from the big internet lenders and the banks, and you should be in good hands. I lend for properties in MN WI IA SD ND. Find me at JoeMetzler.com, NMLS 274132
