That depends on the time of the year, and how complicated your tax return is, and whether or not you e-filed or had to put it in the mail. If you just filed your taxes, and you did the 1040EZ form and filed electronically, then typically, it should only take a few weeks.. But if you have a complicated tax return with multiple schedules, or your self employed, then those returns usually cannot be e-filed.. they have to be mailed.. and these returns at this time of year can take up to 8 weeks..
