It also makes a difference with what is on your credit report such as foreclosures, Bankruptcy, collections, judgements, etc. You need to contact a reputable lender in CA for a pre-qualification.
How much do you have to put down? How long have you been employed? Are you a W2 or 1099 employee? What type of property would you be looking at? Where? Any type of loan you want! With a 678 middle score you would qualify for any type of loan offered.
If the credit score were the only thing lenders looked at, we could say for certain that a 678 would be sufficient.. But there's a hundred other things lenders look at to determine one's eligibility... Also understand that the lender looks at the lowest MID score of all borrowers..
