Anyone know where to get your accurate credit score without affecting your credit? Checked on experian and creditwise but they are showing different scores. Should I try FICO? Buying a house soon and I want to make sure that I qualify. TIA! by mhanoh451 from Encino, California. Jun 29th 2022
Depends on what you mean by 'accurate'. There are multiple credit score versions, and they will all vary, but should all be in the ballpark or each other. Just looking at the free ones you see on your credit card statement, or Credit Karma is good enough for most people. Just understand if your bank statement says one score, and a mortgage lender tells you a slightly different score, this is normal. I provide home mortgage loans in MN WI IA ND SD. contact a lender and begin the free pre approval process ...the lender will likely pull a " tri merge report that accesses the 3 main bureaus ...this shouldnt impact your scores ...this report and scores will be usable to get you pre approved wheras the systems you mention arent usable bu any lender for pre approvals - thanks and good luck
