I love the cartoon strip Dilbert. He said something very profound "Change is good, you go first!" We are afraid of change because of the unknown. Change takes faith!

1. If you change nothing,................................,nothing will change. Change your focus to a bigger picture!

2. If you want to bring about REAL change in your real estate investment portfolio. Read at least one Real Estate focused book a month because Readers are leaders.

3. What are your goals for the year? Set them short and long term. Realistic goals.... Write them down and keep track of the results. This practice is very powerful and it works.

4. Set your minds on things way above what you would expect. Shoot for the stars and if you hit the moon... Good for you! Believe in something bigger than you.

5. Renew your mind. In the bible in the book of Romans chapter 12 verse 2----Paul was writing to the christian church in Rome and wrote "don't be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. " What will renew your mind today? Whatever it is get to doing it. Don't be to busy to get renewed. Take breaks in between your focus on building your Real Estate empire to enjoy the journey along the way.

6. In addition to Real Estate, invest in what you are passionate about.... Things that will last... Things that are eternal and will have eternal benefits!

7. With your Real Estate profits give back to your community. Feed the poor. Help the elderly. Clothe the orphans and be a resource to single moms and widows. Provide shelter to the less fortunate if you have room.

Do these simple things and it will bring about real change in your life. The result will be peace in your heart and fulfillment of your purpose. This will also create a life balance and it will be worth it!
