The Mortgage Lender You Want. (part 3)
Our last blog post covered the first 4 attributes you should be looking for in a mortgage lender.
1. Courteous & friendly, but also professional and business-like.
2. Takes time to ask you about your goals and helps get you there.
3. Answers your questions directly and completely.
4. Seems sincerely interested in help you meet your goals.
And now here's Part 3 in our series "The Mortgage Lender You Want."
1. The Investigative Journalist - We've all seen the episodes of the news where the TV reporter sits down with someone and ask s them really tough questions about their life, (think Bob Costas interviewing Jerry Sandusky.) You want a mortgage lender who will not be afraid to ask you hard questions and shoot straight with you. They also will want evidence that what you say is true and this will help you progress forward in your mortgage process smoothly.
2. A Gardener - I am not a great gardener; but I do know that if you want something to grow you need to have a lot of patience, and you have to be a hard worker! You have to know what tools to use when, and know when to plant and when to harvest. The most important part though means knowing how much water and sun each plant should get to grow to its potential. A good mortgage lender does all these things; they get you the right tools and the right things to grow to your best! They have to be patient and not in a hurry so you can make a good decision in your mortgage process.
