Mortgage rates noticeably improved these past few days, likely due to the delay of a new fee that was announced not too long ago Ironically, that same fee may be the reason rates move higher. The fee we’re talking about applies to all refinances sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on or after December 1st.
